About This Pack
The Wet-Site Tree Pack is designed for areas with seasonally wet or poorly drained soils. Species are selected for practical performance in wet-site conditions and may help add habitat, root structure, and ecological function to challenging areas.
Best Uses
- Swales and drainage areas
- Pond edges
- Low-lying sites
- Rain gardens and restoration plantings
Growing Conditions
This pack is intended for moist to wet conditions. Exact light and soil preferences vary by the species included.
Planting & Care
Match each tree to the wettest or best-suited part of the site, plant promptly, and maintain appropriate moisture during establishment.
What You Will Receive
3 young native trees supplied as Fall 2026 deep tree plugs:
- 1 American Sycamore
- 1 Red Maple
- 1 Sweetgum
These trees are selected for moist to seasonally wet areas. This is not a promise that they will tolerate permanent standing water; place each tree according to the actual drainage and light at the site.
Substitutions
If one listed species is unavailable in healthy shipping condition, Pine Barrens Botanicals will contact you before making a materially different substitution. Any approved substitute will preserve the 3-tree total and the pack’s wet-site purpose.

We ship throughout the United States where legally and practically permitted. Local pickup and delivery may also be available in South and Central New Jersey.
